TONIGHT'S GAME
The
Rangers play their 20th game of the 2015-16 season tonight, Nov. 21,
against the Florida Panthers at BB&T Center (7:00 p.m. ET - TV:
MSG+; Radio: ESPN 1050 AM). New York has posted an 11-1-2 record in its
last 14 games, including a 9-1-0 record in its last 10 games. In
addition, the Rangers have won 11 of their last 13 games (11-1-1). The
Blueshirts enter the contest with a 14-3-2 record, following a 2-1 loss
against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Nov. 19 at Tampa Bay.
RANGERS VS. PANTHERS
· All-Time: 48-28-6-4 (25-14-4-0 at home; 23-14-2-4 on the road)
· 2015-16:
Tonight's game is the first of three meetings between the Rangers and
Panthers, and the first of two meetings between the two teams in
Florida. Following tonight's game, the Rangers and Panthers will play
against each other on the following dates: Jan. 2 (at Florida), Mar. 21
(at MSG).

The Rangers posted a 3-0-0 record (2-0-0 at home; 1-0-0 on the road)
against Florida. The Blueshirts outscored the Panthers, 13-6, in the
season series. Derek Stepan led all skaters with four assists, four

Ryan McDonagh, and Dominic Moore each tallied three points (one goal,

1930 – Feb. 15, 1931. Lundqvist has been named one of the game’s Three
Stars in 12 of the 15 contests he has played in 2015-16, including 12 of
his last 14 appearances and 10 of his last 11 appearances. He has been
named the game’s First Star seven times and the game’s Third Star five
times. In addition, Lundqvist has allowed two goals or fewer in 13 of 15
appearances in 2015-16, including 10 of his last 11 appearances. He
leads the NHL in GAA (1.71), SV% (.946), and saves (453), and is tied
for the NHL lead in wins (10) this season.
Lundqvist
enters the contest with 349 wins in his NHL career/as a Ranger. He is
three wins away from surpassing Terry Sawchuk for the third-most wins by
a goaltender with one franchise in NHL history.

Mats
Zuccarello was named the NHL's Second Star of the Week for the week
ending on Nov. 15. Zuccarello has notched 18 points (nine goals, nine
assists) in the last 18 games, including 15 points (six goals, nine
assists) in the last 13 games and 12 points (five goals, seven assists)
in the last nine contests. Zuccarello leads the Blueshirts in goals
(nine) and points (18) this season, and 17 of his 18 points have either
been a goal or the primary assist on a goal. He leads the Rangers in
primary assists (eight) and is tied for the team lead in assists (nine)
in 2015-16. Zuccarello is one of four NHL players who have recorded at
least eight even strength goals, 18 points, and a plus-eight rating this
season.
BRASS BONANZA
Derick
Brassard has tallied 11 points (five goals, six assists) and has posted a
plus-12 rating in the last 13 games, including 10 points (five goals,
five assists) and a plus-10 rating in the last 11 games. Each of
Brassard’s 13 points thus far in 2015-16 have either been a goal or the
primary assist on a goal.
HEY HEY HAYES
Kevin
Hayes has recorded six points (three goals, three assists) in the last
eight games, and has registered nine points (four goals, five assists)
in the last 12 games. Hayes has notched a point in eight of the last 12

Dan
Girardi has recorded an assist/point in four of the last six games,
registering five points (one goal, four assists) over the span. The
Rangers alternate captain has also notched a point in six of the last 10
games, tallying seven points (two goals, five assists) and posting a
plus-nine rating in those contests. Girardi leads team defensemen in
even strength points (eight), is tied for first among team defensemen in
even strength assists (six), and ranks second among team defensemen in

Fast ranks fourth on the Rangers – and second among team forwards – in

history and defeated the Toronto St. Patricks, 5-1. Rangers captain Bill
Cook registered three goals to record the first hat trick in franchise

21, 1971 – The Rangers established a single-game franchise record with
12 goals in a 12-1 win against the California Golden Seals at MSG. The
Blueshirts also set a franchise record for their largest margin of
victory. Jean Ratelle registered four goals in the contest, and the
“G-A-G Line” of Ratelle, Vic Hadfield, and Rod Gilbert recorded 11
points (five goals, six assists).
