A rough start for the Rangers getting outshot 21-3 in the first period turned into a 5-1 win tonight over the visiting Buffalo Sabres.

Goals by Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad, Neal Pionk's first NHL tally & 2 goals from Jimmy Vesey helped Alexandar Georgiev who stopped a season and career high 43 shots on goal.

Kreider extended his points streak to 5 games with a goal and an assist. Zibanejad extended his scoring streak to 5 games and points streak to 7 games with a goal and an assist. Jeser Fast who picked up and assist extended his points streak to 8 games and Neal Pionk with a goal and an assist extended his points streak to 7 games.
