2000: Glen Sather is hired as the 12th President and 10th General Manager in Rangers history. Sather, a former NY Ranger appeared in 186 regular season games over parts of four seasons (1970-71 - 1973-74) as a Blueshirt, recording 18 goals and 24 assists for 42 points, along with 193 penalty minutes. In addition, he was a member of the 1971-72 Rangers club which advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals.
