Coming off a "barn burner" of a game with the San Jose Sharks tonight the New York Rangers host fellow Original 6 Detroit Red Wings.
In Monday's game vs San Jose the Rangers finished with a 7-4 victory which saw 7 different Rangers score in the contest.
Defenseman Kevin Klein is expected to make his season debut tonight coming off day to day status with back spasms while defenseman Dan Girardi (strained groin) and Pavel Buchnevich (back spasms) did not skate on Tuesday. Head coach Alain Vigneault said Girardi could begin skating in the next day or two, while Buchnevich remains day-to-day.
