Rangers acquire Steve Rucchin from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Trevor Gillies and a fourth round pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Bobby Farnham will attend Rangers training camp on a PTO
Farnham has played in 67 NHL games including 3 last year with Montreal.
Farnham, 28, is 5-10 and played in 71 AHL games last season in St. John, scoring 11 goals and 17 assists.
He played 11 games for Pittsburgh in 2014-15, 3 for Pittsburgh in 2015-16 and 50 for the Devils in 2015-16.
With the Devils he had 8 goals, 2 assists and 92 PIM.
