RANGERS BLANKED IN SEASON FINALE 5-0
The Rangers could not mount much offense against the Flyers and their Captain Claude Giroux as he propelled Philadelphia over the Rangers with a 3 goal afternoon. The Rangers could only put forth a 17 shots on goal performance while not giving Henrik Lundqvist much support on the backend. Lundqvist stopped 35 of the 40 shots he faced in the loss.
New York ends the 2017-2018 Season with a record of 34-39-9, for 8th in Metropolitan Division.
Following the game the Rangers returned forwards Filip Chytil, Lias Andersson & Steven Fogarty to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
