As per Cap Friendly the after the recent signings of restricted free agents Brady Skjei, Kevin Hayes and Ryan Spooner the Rangers have a projected cap hit of $73,823,569 with $5,395,404 left in cap space.
The projection includes Matt Beleskey, Cody McLeod and Peter Holland up front and Brendan Smith, Rob O'Gara and Steven Kampfer on defense. But does not include Filip Chytil, Lias Andersson and Neal Pionk.
With Beleskey, McLeod and Holland, Smith, O'Gara and Kampfer starting the season in Hartford and Chytil, Andersson and Pionk in New York the Rangers have a projected cap space of close to $10 Million to possibly with 46 contracts signed on their 50 contract list and 70 out of 90 spots taken on their reserve list.
