Tonight the Rangers finish off a four game road trip in Columbus taking on the Blue Jackets for the first time this season, puck drop 7:00 PM.
In the previous three road games the Rangers 3-0 this trip have outscored their opponents 14-4 and have outscored opponents 72-38 this season in 17 games.
Forward Chris Kreider is expected to return to the lineup after dealing with a nagging "upper body" injury related to neck spasms that previously kept him out while rookie Pavel Buchnevich, back spasms is doubtful to return to the lineup.
Derek Stepan, Kevin Hayes and Jesper Fast who all were injured blocking shots in the previous game vs Vancouver are also expected to play.
Henrik Ludqvist will get the start in net tonight against Columbus.
Josh Jooris who has been rehabbing a shoulder injury practiced today with a normal jersey after spending the last few days in a non-contact jersey.
The Rangers returned Cristoval Nieves to Hartford of the AHL.

2000: Brian Leetch records his 616th career assist, passing Rod Gilbert for the most helpers by any Ranger in their career. Leetch finishes the game with a goal and two assists as the Rangers defeat the Calgary Flames, 5-4, in overtime.
2001: Eric Lindros tallies his first hat trick as a Ranger, leading the Rangers to a 6-2 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers at MSG.
