Rangers have won at least 14 of its first 20 games of one season for the fourth time in #NYR90 history (1971-72, 1972-73, 2015-16, and 2016-17)

Rangers have tallied five or more goals in 10 of its first 20 games in a season for the second time in franchise history (also in 1971-72).

Rangers are the first NHL team that has recorded five or more goals in 10 of its first 20 games in one season since OTT and PHI in 2005-06.


Rangers Prospect Notes:

Igor Shesterkin is the only goaltender who ranks third or better in the KHL in GAA (2nd), SV% (T-2nd), and SO (1st) this season.

Sean Day is tied for second among OHL defensemen in goals (seven) and leads OHL defensemen in goals per game (0.44) in 2016-17.
