2001: Mark Messier becomes the third player in NHL history to reach 1,800 career points.
Messier tallies has a goal and an assist for the Rangers in a 4-2 victory against the Buffalo Sabres at Madison Square Garden. He joins Gordie Howe and Wayne Gretzky.
2015: Henrik Lundqvist wins his 15th game of the season for the 11th time in his career.
"The King" passes Mike Richter for the most 15-win seasons in franchise history.
