With just over 24 hours away from the 2017 NHL free Agency Frenzy the Rangers are rumored to have interest in pending UFA defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk, golatender Anders Nilsson and center Nick Bonino.
The Rangers are rumored to have checked in with Shattenkirk and will speak with him on Saturday and have reached out to Buffalo's Anders Nilsson about the role of replacing recently traded Antti Raanta.
Bonino, 29, has been with the Penguins for the past two seasons, collecting 29 points in 63 games in 2015-16 and 37 points in 80 games this past season.
