The Rangers Prospect Camp began on Monday. The roster includes:

Developmental Camp will run from Monday, June 26 to Friday, June 30 at the MSG Training Center.

The Rangers have officially not offered RFAs Brandon Pirri, Adam Clendening, Troy Donnay, Michael Paliotta and Mackenzie Skapski qualifying offers. Those players will become UFAs.

According to Craig Custance, the Rangers are one of a few teams that is "in the mix" and talking with Sharks forward and UFA Patrick Marleau.

The Rangers have reached out to Buffalo's Anders Nilsson as a replacement for recently traded goaltender Antti Raanta.

Speculation is the Rangers may opt to try and sign either center Joe Thornton or Patrick Marleau to replace Derek Stepan in the lineup. Both Thornton and Marleau are pending free agents come July 1.

The Rangers are currently in discussions with agents for RFA Mika Zibanejad to extend his contract and are said to be “open to anything” regarding his contract.
