1984: Don Maloney awarded Game MVP at the 36th Annual NHL All Star Game. The First NY Rangers player to earn the ASG MVP Honor. Maloney tallied a goal and 3 assists while Rangers teammate Pierre Larouche socred 2 goals in the game for the Wales Conference in a 6-4 defeat of the Campbell Conference.

1991: Mike Richter establishes a franchise-record with 59 saves in one game in a 3-3 tie with the Vancouver Canucks.
