1992: Marcel Dionne is Elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame
Dionne who finished his career with the NY Rangers (118 Games, 42 goals, 56 assists, 98 points) and played with Detroit and most of his career in Los Angeles over 18 years is among four players inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
2005: Rangers sign defenseman Marc Staal to his first NHL contract.
