Preseason Ends with Trip to Philly

The Rangers look to end the 2018 Preseason match ups with a win tonight in Philly after a tough overtime home loss last night to the Islanders.
Having lost the first of the two contests in their preseason home opener 6-4 on with the help of Philly's 3 first period tallies the Rangers will look for a little retribution and end the preseason on a high note.
In the first meeting back on September 19, the Rangers registered 40 shots on goal in the game including 18 shots on goal in the third period.
Pavel Buchnevich registered two points (one goal, one assist), including a power play goal, recorded five shots on goal, and posted a plus-one rating. Ryan Spooner tallied two points (one goal, one assist), both on the power play, and registered two shots on goal, Filip Chytil recorded a goal and logged 19:17 of ice time and Matt Beleskey registered a goal, tied for the game-high with three blocked shots, and tied for the team-high with three hits.
Alexandar Georgiev who started the game allowed 5 of the Flyers gaols while in relief Dustin Tokarski allowed 1 goal and stopping 10 shots on goal.
Since the last meeting the Rangers have answered the call of coach David Quinn with more physical play along with looking out for each other without putting the team in a bad way.
No lineups have been released but as usual should be available sometime early this afternoon.
