NYR TODAY Wednesday 1/4: Game day Preview, Alumni Birthdays, Today in Rangers History

NEW YORK RANGERS GAME DAY PREVIEW

NEW YORK RANGERS (26-13-1) PHILADELPHIA FLYERS (20-14-5)
Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia 8:00 PM TV: NBCSN, RADIO: WEPN 98.7 FM NY

The Rangers face the Philadelphia Flyers tonight in the second of four meetings, New York won the first meeting 3-2 in Philadelphia back in November.

Coming off a lackluster performance against the Sabres on Tuesday the Rangers look to rebound and get back on the winning side tonight. Henrik Lundqvist turned in a 15 save performance last night but allowed 4 goals on 19 shots. Look for Antti Raanta to get the nod in net for the Rangers tonight in the second of back to back games.

The Rangers will be without forwards Matt Puempel (concussion) and Rick Nash (Groin).
