Gabriel Fontaine, C, Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (QMJHL) - Fontaine registered three goals/points in two games last week. The Rangers' sixth round pick (171st overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft extended his goal/point streak to four games, and he has tallied eight points (six goals, two assists) over the span. Fontaine has registered 33 points (15 goals, 18 assists) and a plus-15 rating in 35 games this season.
Igor Shesterkin, G, SKA St. Petersburg (KHL) - Shesterkin posted a 3-0-0 record, along with a 1.95 GAA and a .923 SV% in three appearances during the week. The Rangers' fourth round pick (118th overall) in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft has posted a 29-3-1 record, along with a 1.55 GAA, a .941 SV%, and 8 SO in 35 appearances in the KHL this season. Shesterkin ranks third in the KHL in SV% and ranks fourth in the league in GAA this season.
Ty Ronning, RW, Vancouver Giants (WHL) - Ronning registered a goal/point in each of Vancouver's two games last week, tallying three points (two goals, one assist) over the span. The Rangers' seventh round pick (201st overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft has notched a point in seven of the last eight games, recording 10 points (six goals, four assists) during the stretch. Ronning ranks second on Vancouver in goals (18) and points (38), and he is tied for second in assists (20) this season.
Emerging from the Pack
Nicklas Jensen registered a goal/point in each of Hartford's three games during the week, tallying four goals over the span. He has recorded a point in 13 of his last 15 games in the AHL, recording 17 points (12 goals, five assists) over the span. Jensen ranks fourth in the AHL in goals this season (18), and he leads the Wolf Pack in goals and points (28) in 2016-17.
Ryan Graves tallied an assist/point in two of Hartford's three contests during the week, registering two assists. The Rangers' fourth round pick (110th overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft has notched three points (one goal, two assists) in the last five games and has recorded 15 points (three goals, 12 assists) in the last 24 games. Graves leads the Wolf Pack in shots on goal (119), is tied for the team lead in assists (15), and ranks second in points (20) this season.
Brandon Halverson made at least 30 saves in each of his two appearances during the week, as he posted a 1-1-0 record, along with a 2.54 GAA and a .924 SV% (61 saves on 66 shots) in the two contests. The Rangers' second round pick (59th overall) in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft stopped 31 of 32 shots he faced and earned a win on Jan. 11 at Rochester.
Magnus Hellberg stopped 29 of 30 shots he faced and earned a win in his only appearance of the week on Jan. 13 at St. John's. Hellberg has allowed two goals or fewer in four of his last five appearances, including one goal in two of those contests (3-2-0 record, 1.80 GAA, .942 SV% over the span).
John Gilmour registered three assists/points in three games during the week. He established a single-game season-high with two assists on Jan. 11 at Rochester.

Tim Gettinger, LW, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (OHL) - Gettinger registered three points (two goals, one assist) in three games last week. The Rangers' fifth round pick (141st overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft has posted a multi-point game in six of his last 11 contests, tallying 16 points (nine goals, seven assists) over the span. In addition, he has registered at least one goal/point in eight of his last 12 games and has recorded 28 points (16 goals, 12 assists) in his last 22 games. Gettinger has registered 21 goals in 40 games this season, and he has established his OHL career-high in goals this season. He ranks second on the Greyhounds in goals and shots on goal (141), and he is tied for fourth on the team in points (37) and plus/minus rating (plus-13) this season.
Ryan Gropp, LW, Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL) - Gropp registered a point in each of Seattle's two games last week (one goal, one assist), and he tallied the game-winning goal on Jan. 15 vs. Spokane. The Rangers' second round pick (41st overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft extended his point streak to four games (two goals, two assists over the span) and has recorded six points (two goals, four assists) in the last seven games. Gropp ranks fifth on Seattle in points this season (28; 11 goals, 17 assists).
Brad Morrison, C, Prince George Cougars (WHL) - Morrison tallied two points (one goal, one assist) in four games last week. The Rangers' fourth round pick (113th overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft has recorded 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in the last 16 games and 41 points (17 goals, 24 assists) in 44 games in 2016-17. Morrison ranks second on the team in goals, assists, and points this season.
Mackenzie Skapski, G, Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL) - Skapski posted a 1-1-0 record, along with a 2.01 GAA and a .940 SV% (63 saves on 67 shots) in two appearances during the week. The Rangers' sixth round pick (170th overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft made 36 saves on Jan. 14 vs. Norfolk, and he stopped 27 of 29 shots he faced to earn a win on Jan. 15 vs. Cincinnati.
Tyler Wall, G, UMass-Lowell River Hawks (NCAA) - Wall stopped 14 of 15 shots he faced and earned a win in his only appearance of the week on Jan. 14 at UMass. The Rangers' sixth round pick (174th overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft extended his personal winning streak to five games, posting a 1.34 GAA and a .952 SV% over the span. In addition, Wall, who was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week last week, has allowed one goal in each of his last four appearances (4-0-0 record, 1.15 GAA, .958 SV% in those contests). Wall has appeared in 19 games with UMass-Lowell this season (17 starts), posting a 14-4-1 record, along with a 1.89 GAA, a .927 SV%, and 1 SO. Wall is tied for third in the NCAA in wins, ranks seventh in the NCAA in GAA, and is tied for 11th in the NCAA in SV% this season.
Sergey Zborovskiy, D, Regina Pats (WHL) - Zborovskiy posted a plus-three rating on Jan. 15 at Prince Albert. The Rangers' third round pick (79th overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft leads the WHL in plus/minus rating in 2016-17 (plus-54).
