The Rangers have signed center David Desharnais
The deal is for one-year and worth $1 million.
Desharnais, 30, is 5-7, 176 and played in 49 games last season, split between Montreal and Edmonton. He has played in 453 NHL games, has 81 goals, 173 assists, is 51% on faceoffs and has a career average of 16:08 per game.

2013: Rangers sign free agent forward Dominic Moore. After drafting the forward 95th overall in 2000 NHL draft, Moore returned to New York in 2013 for three seasons, helping the Rangers reach the Stanley Cup Final in 2014.
