NEW YORK RANGERS GAME DAY PREVIEW

NEW YORK RANGERS (1-1-0) VS SAN JOSE SHARKS (2-0-0)
Madison Square Garden, NYC TV: MSG Network, NHLN-US, CSN-CA Radio: WEPN 1050 AM

Tonight the New York Rangers host the undefeated San Jose Sharks tonight at Madison Square Garden. Coming off a frustrating 3-2 loss to St Louis on Saturday the hard fighting young roster looks to pick up their second win of the season on home ice.
The Rangers will likely be without the services of veteran defenseman Dan Girardi. Girardi suffered what is being termed as a "hip-flexor" injury and is being listed as "more" than day to day. Look for second year defenseman Dylan McIlrath to make his 2016-2017 regular season debut in Girardi's stead.
Henrik Ludqist who gave up 3 goals on 18 shots on goal Saturday will once get a nod in net for the Blueshirts. Any lineup changes will be announced later in the day by Coach Alain Vigneault.
