The Rangers return to Columbus for the second time this season looking to avenge a 4-2 loss in their last visit on November 18.
The Rangers won 11 of their last 16 games and four of their last five, including a 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers Wednesday. They own a league-leading 14 wins on the road this season (13-4-0).
Derek Stepan is the team leader vs Columbus with a point in eight of his last nine games against Columbus dating back to March 21, 2014, and 15 points in 14 games for his career.
New York will be without Rick Nash (groin) and Mika Zibaenjad (broken fibula). Defenseman Marc Staal is day-to-day with an upper body injury.
The matchup is the final game before the Rangers start their in-season bye week.
