NEW YORK RANGERS GAME DAY

The Traverse City NHL Prospects Tournament Continues Today
New York Rangers (1-1) vs Minnesota Wild (0-1) 3:00 PM at David's Rink, Red Wings TV, Fox Sports Go
The Rangers Rookies coming in off an overtime win over the Dallas Stars on Saturday in their second game of the tournament will look to keep the rookies from Minnesota winless at Traverse City.
The Rangers have now split their two games dropping their first game on Friday in overtime to Carolina 4-3 and then in another overtime game on Saturday defeated the Dallas Stars 5-4. Malte Stromwall led the Rangers on Saturday with 2 regulation goals and one in overtime. Prospects Jimmy Vesey, Cristoval "Boo" Neives and Robin Kovacs all posted on the scoresheet in Saturday's win. Brandon Halverson has started both games in net for the Rangers and stopped 36 of 40 shots in the win vs the Stars.
Minnesota dropped both tournament games on Friday and Saturday to Dallas and Carolina.
Carolina is the only undefeated team so far in the tournament winning both of their games on Friday vs the Rangers and again on Saturday vs Minnesota. They will take on Dallas today.

RANGERS AT WORLD CUP OF HOCKEY NOTES
Both Henrik Lundqvist (Team Sweden) and J.T. Miller (Team North America) were scratches for their respective teams in the World Cup of Hockey Tournament yesterday. Lundqvist reportedly has the flu and returned to his hotel room before game time on Sunday. Miller was a healthy scratch for Team North America.
