NEW YORK RANGERS POST GAME REPORT: RANGERS VS BLACKHAWKS 12/13

Rangers streak ends at three, fall to Chicago 2-1

Another start by Antt Raanta with a different result. Coming into the game with a 3 game win streak Antti Raanta held on to his no goals against streak until the 176th minute when Chicago took a 1-0 lead in the second period. The Rangers came back though just minutes later and tied the game off the stick of Jesper Fast. But the Blackhawks pulled ahead once again this time for good with just over a minute remaining in the period.

It was another great goaltending battle between the two former teammates Raanta and Scott Darling. This time with Darling coming out on top. The Rangers and Chicago have now split the season series 1-1 and will not faceoff again this season.

The Rangers Return to Action on Thursday when they visit the Dallas Stars, 8:30 PM Puck Drop.
