NEW YORK RANGERS POST GAME REPORT: RANGERS AT BLACKHAWKS 12/9

Raanta Shines as Rangers top Blackhawks in Overtime 1-0

It took 60:55 for the Rangers to score the only goal of the game and to take the win in Chicago. Nick Holden scored just fifty five seconds into the overtime period on a two on one break with Chris Kreider on the opposite side to give the Rangers the 1-0 win.

But the story of the game wasn't the goals as you can tell by the score but the goaltending. Both the Rangers Annti Raanta and Blackhawks Scott Darling put on an absolute Goalie Clinic tonight making save after remarkable save. Both goaltenders held each other's team scoreless throughout the entire sixty minutes and each made at kleast 3 huge saves that would have been goals otherwise.

Raanta finished the game with 26 saves on the night. Drerek Stepan took over the top spot in assists with his 15th of the season on Holden's Game Winner.

The Rangers 2 for 3 on the road after this trip now head back home to face New Jersey at the Garden on Sunday. Puck drop 7:00 PM.
