Holding on after a late 2 goal third period barrage by Philadelphia the Rangers ended their 8 game home skid with a 4-3 win over the Flyers. In the process the Rangers picked up their 100th point of the season and clinched at least the first Wild Card Position in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.
Down 1-0 early in the second period the Rangers led by Mats Zuccarello rallied for 4 unanswered goals in the second and third periods to take a 4-1 lead.
Rangers goals were scored by by Mika Zibanejad, Brendan Smith, Oscar Lindberg and Chris Kreider with the eventual game winner. Zuccarello assisted on the first 3 of the game bringing his team leading asskists up to 44 and his team leading points to 59.
Chris Kreider took the team goal scoring lead with his 28th of the Season.
Henrik Lundqvist picked up his 31st win of the season stopping 20 of 23 shots on goal.
The Rangers head to Washington to take on the Capitals Wednesday at 8:00 PM
