The second season starts tonight in Montreal as the Rangers face off against the Canadiens in the first-round of the Eastern Conference playoff series. This will be the second time in three years and the 16th time in NHL History that the Canadiens and Rangers will face off in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, with the Rangers holding an 8-7 edge.
With a mix of rookies and veterans rolling up front the Rangers will depend on all four lines to get things done against Montreal. Henrik Lundqvist will once again lead the way in net for the Rangers matching up against Montreal's Carey Price. Lifetime, Lundqvist is 14-17-3 in the regular season against the Canadiens.
Coming into tonight's game the Rangers led the league in road victories with 27 and were the highest-scoring team in third periods during the regular season.
