Rangers look to take season series in Ottawa

Heading into tonight's contest with 2 games remaining before the playoffs begin the Rangers look to win the regular season series against the Senators in Ottawa. In the third and final game between the two teams the series is even 1. Ottawa won the first game 2-0 on November 27 and the Rangers won the second a month later on December 27 by the score of 4-3, both games were played at MSG.

Henrik Lundqvist will get his final start of the season tonight. Lifetime against Ottawa in 36 games played Lundqvist is 15-17-3, 2.08 GAA, .931 save percentage and has 1 Shutout. He has allowed two goals or fewer in each of his last five appearances against Ottawa, posting a 3-2-0 record, along with a 1.57 GAA and a .943 Save percentage.

Rangers Captain Ryan McDonagh skated yesterday at practice but will not play tonight.

The Rangers called up forward Tyler Beck from Hartford of the AHL yesterday. Beck was obtained earlier in the season from Edmonton for prospect Justin Fontaine.
