NYR MEDIA DAY NOTES:

Coach Alain Vigneault spoke with the media yesterday:
On Henrik Lundqvist's injury; "he has been checked by our doctors. At this time we don't feel that it's anything too serious. There is a little bit of swelling near the eye and around the eye. He will see another specialist this afternoon and we will have more news tomorrow."
On where the specialist that Lundqvist will be seeing is, New York or Pittsburgh: "no, he's here, he will see a doctor here."
On the recall of Goaltender Magnus Hellberg: "it's in case we get some bad news but we don't feel that way, it's just a matter of where the injury is and being on the safe side and making sure he is alright."
Will Hellberg have to practice tomorrow to play on Saturday, "Yes. It's an afternoon game, so...."
On who might be starting Game 2, Ludqvist or Raanta: "I will wait until I get the results from his examination this afternoon and from there we will have a better idea."

Availability of Captain Ryan McDonagh:  "The next game I would say no but he is still day to day."

On lineup changes for Game 2: "I am considering all of my options now. At this time of the year you need to look at all your personnel and see who is giving you their best and at this time no one wants to not play well but some guys play better than others. With my coaching staff we will look at all of the options."
