RANGERS TEAM NOTES: Rangers look to take the series back to Pittsburgh tied at 2 games each. Rangers will be looking to put some goals on the board having only scored 3 in their last 4 playoff games at Madison Square Garden.
All 12 healthy players including 7 defensemen took part in yesterday's optional skate along with injured D-Man Dan Girardi who is still listed as day to day with an undisclosed injury. The Rangers know the mistakes they made in Game 3 and look to work off of those mistakes and take the series into Game 5 tied at 2 games each. Henrik Lundqvist will start in goal once again for the Rangers and it looks as though Coach Vigneault will be going with the same lineup as Tuesday night. But as usual the lineup will probably come down to what Vigneault decides after todays formal practice. There might be a possibility that either rookie D-Man Dylan McIlrath or Raphael Diaz are inserted into the lineup over rookie Brady Skjei.
Rangers recalled the following 7 players from Hartford Wolf Pack yesterday to round out their "Black Aces" practice squad Chris Brown, Nicklas Jensen, Jayson Megna and Daniel Paille, Mat Bodie, Ryan Graves and Chris Summers.
