SEASON SERIES: The Rangers and Red Wings meet for the 3rd and final time of the 2015-2016 season today in a Saturday afternoon matinee. New York and Detroit have split the season so far, the Wings having won in Detroit 3-2 on March 12th and the Rangers winning the 2nd game at MSG 1-0 in Overtime on a goal by Kevin Klein.

RANGERS TEAM NOTES: The Rangers will be without defensemen Ryan McDonagh (hand) and Dan Girardi (head,neck), Forwards Mats Zuccarello and Viktor Stalberg (lower body) when they faceoff vs Detroit for the final regular season game today at Madison Square Garden. Coach Alain Vigneault will insert previously scratched Oscar Lindberg and Marik Hrivik, recalled from Hartford of the AHL to replace Zuccarello and Stalberg. Goaltender Antti Raanta will get the nod today in net for the Rangers, Raanta has won his last 3 starts.
