TRAVERSE CITY UPDATE: Rangers fall in final game 8-4 to Blues



RANGERS DROP FINALE 8-4
The Rangers ended their Traverse City trip on a sour note losing to the Blues 8-4 and finishing last in the Ted Lindsay Division. They ended with a record of 1-3.

Goals from Kyle Potts, a power play goal from Nico Gross and 2 golas from Reese Johnson in the third could not overcome the barrage from St Louis.

Ryan Lindgren, Joey Keane, Gross, Drew Melanseon & Jakub Stukel all picked up assists in the contest.


Michael Lindqvist finished with 1 shot, a hooking penalty and was minus 4 on the day.  Lindgren was a plus 2, Ville Meskanen was a minus 4 as well with only 2 shots on net, Ty Ronning was only able to pick up 1 shot on goal in the game and Keane along with the assists tallied 2 shots while coming up a minus 2.

The Rangers went with 7 defensemen yesterday starting Brandon Crawley paired with Nico Gross, Ryan Lindgren paired with Joey Keane, Sean Day paired with Derek Pratt and Tyson Helgesen as a 7th defenseman.

The lines the Rangers used yesterday were:
Michael Lindqvist, Tim Gettinger, Ville Meskanen
Dawson Leedahl, Gabriel Fontaine, Ty Ronning
Drew Melanson, Kyle Potts, Jason Salvaggio
Jakob Stukel, Reese Johnson

Chris Nell started in net.

Lias Andersson, Filip Chytil and Libor Hajek were scratched from yesterday's finale.
