1935: Murray Murdoch tallied the only goal of the contest with 7:35 remaining in regulation and Dave Kerr earned the win and shutout as the Rangers defeated the Boston Bruins, 1-0, at MSG.
1938: Bryan Hextall (two goals, three assists), Phil Watson (one goal, four assists), and Dutch Hiller (two goals, two assists) recorded 14 points as the Rangers defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs, 6-2, at MSG.
1955: Gump Worsley posted his second shutout in as many days, stopping all 37 shots he faced, and Wally Hergesheimer registered a hat trick as the Rangers defeated the Boston Bruins, 5-0, in Boston. Worsley stopped all 73 shots he faced while recording back-to-back shutouts against Boston.
1982: Rob McClanahan records a hat trick in an 8-5 Rangers win over the Minnesota North Stars at MSG.
It’s the third straight game in which the Rangers record a hat trick.
2017: The New York Rangers unveil their Uniforms for the 2018 NHL Bridgestone Winter Classic vs the Buffalo Sabres at Citi Field in New York.
