RANGERS PROSPECTS REVIEW:
Brad Morrison, Center: Prince George Cougars (WHL)
Ht: 6' 0" Wt: 170 Shoots: Left Born: 1/4/1997
Drafted by NY Rangers Round 4, #113 Overall 2015 NHL Entry Draft
Rated by Hockey's Future as the Rangers number 6 overall prospect in the system Morrison finished his 4 season of junior hockey with the Prince George Cougars of the WHL. In 72 regular season games he tallied 28 goals and 34 assists with a minus 7 rating and 35 penalty minutes. Morrison is still a bit on the small side, but there is something very special about his creativity with the puck. He has natural offensive gifts—excellent vision, hockey smarts, and great hands–and is willing to play in traffic, where he often loses the battles, but tries to find other ways to make things happen. He is yet to sign an entry level contract with the Rangers and may need another full year in Juniors before he's ready to move to the Pros.
