New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has traded defenseman Keith Yandle acquired a sixth round pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft and a conditional fourth round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft from the Florida Panthers.
The Rangers would receive the fourth round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft if Yandle signs with the Panthers.
Yandle registered seven goals and 51 assists in 103 games with the Rangers over the past two seasons.
