Rangers select Ty Ronning at 201st overall

BUFFALO, NY – On Saturday, in the second day of the 2016 NHL Draft, the New York Rangers with the 201st overall pick selected forward Ty Ronning.

Ronning was drafted 15th overall in Round 1 of the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft by the Vancouver Giants, and captured BC & Western Canadian Championship with BWC Bantam A1-T1. in 2011-12.

Ronning is the son of former NHLer Cliff Ronning.
