2000: Ron Low becomes the 30th head coach in Rangers history. Low who replaced interm coach John Tortorella (4 games in 2000) only lasted as Head Coach from 2000-2002, coaching 164 games with a record of 69-86-9-
RANGERS ARBITRATION DATES SET
The NHLPA has announced that the four Rangers who filed for arbitration will have their hearings in Toronto on the following dates: Dylan McIlrath: 7/21, Chris Kreider: 7/22, Kevin Hayes: 7/27, JT Miller: 8/2.
The Rangers can avoid a hearing by coming to terms on a new contract prior to their arbitration date.
