LUNDQVIST EARNS WIN WITH 50 SAVES

Another game, another start and another 50 saves and another win for Henrik Lundqvist. Lundqvist has now stopped 100 of 106 shots in the past 2 games.

Great goaltending backed by three Rangers goals earned the Rangers their second consecutive win while handing Calgary their third loss in a row.

Goals by Kevin Hayes, Pavel Buchnevich and Ryan Spooner's first as a Rangers fueled the Rangers offense although being outhot 51-27. Spooner picked uhis 6th & 7th points in his first three games with New York since coming over for Rick Nash from Boston. So far a good trade for the Rangers.

The Rangers have now picked up 2 wins for 4 points on their Western Canada Road Trip which ends tomorrow night in Edmonton.
