RANGERS BLANKED BY JETS 3-0 AT MSG

Sorry Rangers Fans not much to talk about in the way of the Rangers tonight as it was the Patrick Laine show at the Garden tonight as the Winnipeg sniper picked up his 36th, 27th & 38th goals of the season for the hat trick tallying goals in the first, second and a third period empty net score in the final minute.

Henrik Lundqvist did his job stopping 31 of 33 shots he faced tonight but with the possible exception of Kevin Hayes who was stopped on many occasions by Steve Mason the Rangers were one step behind the visiting Jets tonight. Mats Zuccarello had a few chances but one was a snake bit across the crease off the post and out shot from a wraparound attempt and a wide open attempt that he shanked into the pads of Mason. Just a frustrating game for the fans and for the Rangers as well.
