RANGERS IN CAROLINA LOOKING TO PICK UP THE PIECES


New York Rangers (33-37-8) vs Carolina Hurricanes (35-22-11)

Coming off a disappointing 7-3 loss in the final home game of the 2017-2018 Season Henrik Lundqvist and the Rangers will look to sweep the season series against the Carolina Hurricanes tonight in Raleigh.


Tonight is the fourth and final meeting between the Rangers and Hurricanes. The Rangers lead the series 3-0. The Rangers already have won here in Raleigh back on November 22, 6-1 and have two wins on Garden Ice, 5-1 on December 1 and a 6-3 win earlier this month on March 12. In the previous contest Jimmy Vesey tallied his first career NHL Hat Trick. Chris Kreider, Mats Zuccarello and Jesper Fast all have two tallies in the previous three games against the Canees. Rookie Alexandar Georgiev picked up the last win at MSG, Henrik Lundqvist who starts tonight has a win at the Garden and a win here in Raleigh.
