A "STEP" IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
Derek Stepan had two goals and five shots on goal in the Rangers win over Dallas on Tuesday.
Stepan was 10 and 5 on faceoffs, had two shots that missed the net, 2 hits and 2 blocked shots in 16:31.
His goals were his first in the 7 games since returning from his broken ribs and his first multi-point game since November 12th.
Stepan has been over 50% on faceoffs in 5 of the 7 games since returning.
Asked about his game starting to feel better, Stepan said that his line, with Rick Nash and Jayson Megna, played well, worked hard and created chances. (MSG)
