Rangers Weekly Prospects Notes:

The Hartford Wolf Pack picked up their fourth consecutive win Saturday, a 2-1 victory over Lehigh Valley. Adam Tambellini (game-winner) and Mat Bodie scored while Magnus Hellberg made 26 saves to pick up the W.

Tambellini, the Rangers' 2013 third-round pick, has 10 goals and five assists for 15 points this season, his first with Hartford.

Over in the Western Hockey League, forward Brad Morrison notched his first hat trick of the season for Prince George in its win over Vancouver. The 2015 selection has 17 goals and 20 assists for 37 points in 45 contests.
Ryan Gropp picked up two goals and added an assist Friday night for Seattle in its win over Sergey Bobrovskiy and Regina. Gropp now has three goald and five assists in his last five games, and has a line of 21-19-40 in 40 games this season.

Daniel Bernhardt picked up three assists in his second Ontario Hockey League game with the London Knights in its 7-1 victory over Saginaw.

Defenseman Ryan Mantha scored a goal for Niagara Friday night, his third of the month after being held without a tally for November and December. He now has five goals to go along with 13 assists this season.

Goaltender Adam Huska made it three wins in a row Saturday, stopping 30 saves in a win over Madison in the United States Hockey League. The 2015 draft choice is 12-6 with a 1.67 goals against average and a .942 save percentage with four shutouts. He leads the league in save percentage, goals against average and shutouts.

Over in Europe, Aleksi Saarela picked up a goal and an assist over the last two games with the Aces in Finland. The 2015 third-round pick has 11 goals and six assists for 17 points in 30 games this season.

Fellow 2015 pick Robin Kovacs picked up a goal for AIK in Sweden. He now has 14 goals and eight assists for 22 points in 31 games.

It was a busy night in the Western Hockey League for Rangers prospects, as all four faced off against each other Wednesday night.

Starting Portland, 2014 third-round pick Keegan Iverson picked up three assists for the Winterhawks against 2015 third-round Sergey Zborovskiy and the Regina Pats. Iverson has five assists in his last three games, and has nine goals, 13 assists and 22 points in 31 games this season. He missed most of December with an injury, and had he not, he may have been able to eclipse some career-highs, most notably his career-best 42 points in his draft year.

The other matchup saw Ryan Gropp and the Seattle Thunderbirds shut out Brad Morrison and the Prince George Cougars, 4-0. Gropp snapped a seven-game goal drought with his 19th of the season. Morrison, meanwhile, was held off the scoresheet. Gropp has 19 goals and 18 assists for 37 points in 38 games.

2015 pick Daniel Bernhardt made his Ontario Hockey League debut Wednesday night, going pointless in the Knights' 3-0 loss to Guelph. The fourth-round pick had spent the start of the season between Djurgardens IF of the SHL and Almtuna IS of Allsvenskan in Sweden.

Over in Finland, forward Aleksi Saarela picked up an assist Wednesday night in the Aces' 2-1 loss to JYP. Saarela has 10 goals, six assists and 16 points in 29 games this season.

Two Rangers prospects met head-to-head Tuesday night in the Western Hockey League, with Brad Morrison and the Prince George Cougars getting the best of Ryan Gropp and the Seattle Thunderbirds, 6-2.

Morrison went pointless in the contest, while Gropp picked up an assist, his fourth helper in two games. Morrison has 14 goals and 20 assists for 34 points in 43 games, while Gropp has 18 goals and 18 assists for 36 points in 37 contests.

Defenseman Sergey Zborosvskiy picked up an assist in Regina's 4-3 overtime win over Everett Tuesday. The 2015 third-rounder has five goals and 10 assists for 15 points in 36 games
