NY RANGERS MORNING SKATE REPORT

OFFICIAL: The New York Rangers have sent forward Jayson Megna back to Hartford Wolf Pack AHL
Head Coach Alain Vigneault stated: Jayson Megna's skill set wanted to face Wild but Rangers want Tanner Glass to face Flyers. Megna logged in 9:12 with two shots, including 2:49 on the power play, in Thursday’s 4-2 win over the Wild. This is the 3rd time this season Megna has been recalled and sent back down to Hartford.

In six games with the Rangers this season, Megna has registered one goal and one assist for two points, along with two penalty minutes. He has registered nine goals and 12 assists for 21 points, along with 14 penalty minutes in 38 games with the Wolf Pack in 2015-16.

Injury Updates: Kevin Klein (fractured thumb) possible for tomorrow, AV needs to check with doctors first; Kevin Klein did participate in team drills today. Klein says he can play tomorrow. Just a pain tolerance thing. Admits he and doc were laughing when he was said to be out indefinitely.

Rick Nash (bone bruise left leg) did not skate during or after team practice and will not be traveling to Philadelphia with the team. No further update has been given on his status, still listed as day to day. Nash stated he did not feel any improvement with his leg injury.

PRACTICE NOTES: All healthy NY Rangers were on the ice today. A huge part of the drills were dedicated to the slumping Power Play.
