NEW YORK RANGERS POST GAME REPORT

Rangers fall to Jackets 4-2

No joy in Rangerstown tonight even though the Rangers fought back from a 1-0 deficit and a 2-1 defict to tie the game in the 3rd period only to lose in Columbus 4-2. A rough games for the Rangers where turnovers in their own end led to 2 goals while a misplay on the power play led to the go ahead goal on a 2 on 1 breakaway for Columbus.

The bright spots in the game were Michael Grabner's 11th of the season which now ties him for 2nd in the league with Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby and 1 behind league leading Winnipeg Jets Patrick Laine. Brady Skjei picked up his 11th assist of the season on a Mika Zibanejad goal.

Henrik Lundqvist yeilded 3 goals on 23 shots on goal whil ethe Rangers scored 2 goals on 26 shots.
