1969 – The New York Rangers scored three goals in a 38-second span in a 9-0 over the Bruins, setting a team record. Rookie defenseman Brad Park, who was often compared Bobby Orr for being an offensive defenseman (the two actually fought a few times), scored his first NHL goal in the flurry.
1983: Mark Pavelich ties a franchise record with five goals in the Rangers 11-3 win over the Whalers at MSG.
1988: Brian Leetch signs his first NHL contract.
1990: Mike Richter ties a Rangers goaltending record with two assists in a 6-3 Rangers victory over the Washington Capitals.
2016: Henrik Lundqvist establishes a franchise record by appearing in his 50th game of the season for the ninth time.
