LUUNDQVIST STORMS OFF ICE AFTER BEING PULLED IN THIRD

RANGERS DROP THIRD STRAIGHT, FALL TO SENS 6-3

Henrik Lundqvist pulled again after surrendering 5 goals in three periods was pulled in favor of rookie bckup Brandon Halverson. Lundqvist who would normally skate to the bench and take a seat at the far end instead skated right into the Rangers locker room after giving a hard look at head coach Alain Vigneault. Lundqvist never returned to the bench but metioned after the game that the Rangers were beating themselves.

Another game of defensive turnovers and leaving your goaltender out to dry once again occured today in Ottawa. Front the start of the game where a turnover resulted in a Mark Stone goal for the Senators just over a minute into the opening period to a wide open third period the Rangers were once again playing come from behind hockey.

Former Ranger Derick Brassard took a big bite out of his former team tallying a goal and 2 assists on the night includig an assist on the game's final goal which seemed to have been scored when Halverson was run over in the paint, but after a video review it was deemed the goal was good.

The Rangers did manage to post three goals in the defeat. Michael Grabner picked up his 24th & 25th goals of the season and Mika Zibanejad posted his 17th. Mats Zuccarello picked up an assist for his team leading 41st point.
