2003: WE’LL NEVER FORGET JIM GORDON
Jim Gordon, the long-time TV voice of the Rangers, radio voice of the football Giants and one of the most relentlessly pleasant men in broadcasting passed away at his home in Putnam, NY one day after his 76th Birthday from cancer. Mostly teaming with outburst-prone Bill “The Big Whistle” Chadwick, Gordon called Rangers telecasts from 1973 through 1983.
