RANGERS BLANKED BY ISLES IN BROOKLYN 3-0

FALL BEHIND IN SEASON SERIES 3-0

Not much to talk about on the Rangers side except for missed opprotunities and failure to side the puck past Islanders goaltender Jaroslav Halak even with a season high 50 shots on goal.

The Ilsanders scored a goal in each period to garner the 3-0 win. Josh Bailey scored a power play goal just 11 seconds into the man advange. Jordan Eberle netted one in the second and Thomas Hiickey finished it off with a goal in the third.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped 32 of 32 shots on net. Rick Nash, Kevin Hayes, John Gilmour and Jimmy Vesey led the team in shots on goal with 5 each.
