Today in NYR History 11/18:


1934: The Rangers trade Percy Jackson to the Boston Bruins in exchange for cash considerations.


1957: The Rangers acquire the signing rights to Pete Conacher from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for $15,000 cash.


1980: The Rangers acquire Dale Lewis from the Calgary Flames in exchange for Frank Beaton.


2000: Brian Leetch records his 616th career assist, passing Rod Gilbert for the most helpers by any Ranger in their career.
Leetch finishes the game with a goal and two assists as the Rangers defeat the Calgary Flames, 5-4, in overtime.


2001: Eric Lindros tallies his first hat trick as a Ranger, leading the Rangers to a 6-2 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers at MSG.
