1942: The Rangers acquire Red Garrett and Hank Goldup from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for Babe Pratt.


1944: The Rangers acquire Guy LaBrie from the Boston Bruins in exchange for $12k cash.


1960: Rod Gilbert makes his NHL debut in a 3-3 tie against the Chicago Blackhawks at MSG.


1984: The Rangers trade Mark Morrison to the Edmoton Oilers in exchange for cash considerations.


1998: The Rangers acquire Stanislav Neckar from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Bill Berg and the 1999 2nd round pick (#44-Jordan Leopold).
