Ryan Gropp, Adam Chapie and Vince Pedrie all scored goals in Hartford's 5-4 shootout win over Rochester Friday night in the American Hockey League. Brandon Crawley had two assists while Pedrie, Vinni Lettieri and Neal Pionk had one helper each. Goaltender Alexandar Georgiev finished with 34 saves for the win.The Wolf Pack dropped a 4-3 overtime decision to the Toronto Marlies Saturday night. Gropp posted his first career multi-goal/point game to give him five thus far in his rookie campaign. Letteri netted his ninth of the year, while the newly acquired Peter Holland had an assist. Georgiev had 35 saves in the loss.
Forward Ty Ronning scored a goal and added eight shots on goal on his way to being named the game's No. 1 star in Vancouver's 5-3 victory over Prince George in the Western Hockey League on Friday. The 2016 seventh round pick has 26 goals and 38 points in 29 games this season with the Giants.
