RANGERS RALLY PAST CANES 5-1

In what once again looked to be a rough start for the Rangers giving up a goal to the Carolina Hurricanes just 55 seconds into the opening period turned out to be a squash for the Rangers.

A Natural Hat Trick for Michael Grabner, two of those goals into empty nets in the third period, 2 power play goals from David Desharnais and Paul Carey put this one in the books for a win a 2 big points for the Rangers. Desharnais goal came while on the power play on another fluke goal, flipped towards Scott Darling who once again could not make the stop. In the prior Rangers win just less than a week ago Mika Zibanejad had scored on Darling in a similar fashion.

Henrik Lundqvist earned his 13th win of the Season and his 418 career win to tie Tony Esposito for second most wins with one team.
